College, and the transition afterwards can be a difficult time of our lives, and sometimes we have to ratchet down the belt buckles a few notches on our spending. This often comes out of our food budget.

Dinner
Taco Ramen
A dish for tight budgets, and small pantries. Eat with cholula!
Ingredients
- 3 pkgs Beef Ramen
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 pkg Taco Seasoning
- 1/4 t. Garlic Salt
- 1/4 t. Onion Powder
Instructions
Brown the beef in a skillet. Boil water in separate pot. When pot boils cook ramen.In the skillet add taco seasoning, follow directions on packet. Save small portion of the packet for later. A ramen and leftover taco seasoning, garlic salt, and onion powder to the ramen pot. Add taco meat to the pot of ramen. Let boil for a minute or so.

Creamy Mushroom Chicken
Easy to make, no prep necessary.
Ingredients
- 2 Chicken Breasts (Frozen)
- 1 14oz can Cream of Mushroom
- 1 14oz can Cream of Chicken
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put chicken in a glass dish, large enough to hold both breasts but not too large, we need the chicken to be covered. Cover the chicken with both cans of soup. Bake for 1 hour, or until the chicken is cooked through.

Peach Sangria
A cool drink for those warm summer days, with a little peach infusion.
Ingredients
- 1 Granny Smith Apple diced
- 1 Grapefruit sliced
- 5 Strawberries diced
- 2 bottles Sparkling Moscato
- 1/2 cup DeKuyper Peach Schnopps
- 1/2 cup Christian Brother Brandy
Instructions
Combine wine, liquor brandy. Chill in fridge for 1 day, or in the freezer for 1 hour. Slice fruit.Add fruit to Sangria. Serve!
